Bush: "My country desires peace"

Addressing Muslim leaders at the UN today, Bush said, "My country desires peace. Extremists in your midst spread propaganda claiming that the West is engaged in a war against Islam. This propaganda is false and its purpose is to confuse you and justify acts of terror. We respect Islam."

Didn't Bush's mom ever tell him that actions speak louder than words?

we watched robert greenwald's documentary "iraq the uncovered truth". at the very end, as the credits ware rolling, there's a piece from a debate in 2000 bush had with gore. to paraphrase bush: "i am not into nation building. it isn't up to the united states to interfere with other country's and how they decide to run things. that is up to the people."

i didn't get what else he said. i was laughing too hard.
