Bush: "Kill the suicide bombers!"
OK, that's not literally what he said, but what else could he mean by "Those who committed this crime must be brought to justice"?
Forgive our flippancy in the face of tragedy, but it seems to us that suicide bombers bring themselves to "justice." It happened with 9/11, it has happened hundreds of times since we invaded Iraq, and it happened again today with the assassination of Benazir Bhutto. The perpetrators are all dead, by their own hands.
So whom shall we "bring to justice"? The alleged conspirators? The alleged "masterminds"? The alleged associates of the suicide bombers? Anyone who allegedly ever said anything allegedly negative about Bhutto?
Bush has been trying to bring people to "justice" his entire political career, beginning with the record number of executions he presided over as governor of Texas. Has he accomplished his goal yet?
And finally, why is George W. Bush even pretending to care about Bhutto? She's a Middle Eastern woman! When has he ever cared about a Middle Eastern woman before? In fact, when has he ever cared about a Middle Eastern person of either gender, besides his pal Osama bin Laden? And what, pray tell, does George W. Bush know about justice? If Bhutto's killers are "murderous extremists," as he calls them, then what is he?
Bush should quit trying to bring people to justice, and start bringing justice to people instead.

Bush should bring justice to people, huh? I can only imagine what you mean by that: He should make sure wealth is distributed equally. He should raise the number of entitlement programs. Create an even more gigantic welfare state than the Great Society ever envisioned. Confiscate as much wealth as possible from the rich. Make political correctness the law of the land. View people as members of groups and afford them special rights based on their group. Expand the rights of criminals and enemy combatants. Take away the ability of people to defend themselves with firearms. Arrest and prosecute fewer "people of color."

Editor, I had some of these same thoughts as the Commander in Thief spouted those lines.
Shouldn't that be "homicide bombers" a la Faux?
