More dead bodies = "a snapshot...a moment"

President Bush, May 10, 2007: "The level of sectarian violence is an important indicator of whether or not the strategy that we have implemented is working. Since our operation began, the number of sectarian murders has dropped substantially."

President Bush, May 24, 2007 (in response to the question, "Are you surprised by reports today from the Iraqis that sectarian killings are actually on the rise to pre- troop surge levels?"): "Yes, I'm - there's - certainly there's been an uptick in violence. It's a snapshot. It's a moment."

When one has a constant parade of squirrel monkeys crawling from one's butt, as Bush does, one cannot think in a coherent manner.

Pity him.

Ms. Lori,

THANK YOU for explaining, at long last, what Bush's problem is. Now everything makes sense.

We're more inclined, however, to pity the monkeys.
